In 2018, the Center for Workforce Inclusion launched CWI Labs, an innovation hub focused on the labor force obstacles confronting traditionally underserved communities. We invite individuals who have unique expertise in economic inclusion, aging, and workforce development issues to join our Fellow in Residence Program.

Malcom Glenn is currently a Senior Fellow with CWI Labs. Malcom is an expert in how public policy and technology can improve people’s lives, especially in areas like housing, transportation, and economic development. He writes for and advises the Labs on how access to technology can create opportunities for our Nation’s aging workforce, with a particular focus on our recovery from the economic impact of COVID-19.

Malcom is the Director of Public Affairs at Better.com, a platform that makes homeownership easier and more accessible. He was previously the Head of Global Policy for Accessibility and Underserved Communities at Uber Technologies, where he led efforts to make Uber more accessible for historically marginalized groups.

Prior to joining Uber, Malcom was an executive communications manager at Google, where he developed strategic communications for two of Google’s chief financial officers and their leadership teams. Before joining Google, he was the national director of communications at the American Federation for Children, an advocacy organization focused on expanding educational options for children from low-income families, and he previously worked on issue campaigns at the polling firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. He’s also a board member for the Consumer Technology Association Foundation, BUILD Metro DC, and the World Institute on Disability and a Fellow for the Future of Property Rights program at New America.

Malcom received a bachelor’s degree in history from Harvard College, where he was the president of The Harvard Crimson.
