Overview

Each year, 600K individuals make the difficult transition from prison back into their communities. Sustainable employment is critical to a successful transition. But formerly incarcerated job seekers face a myriad of obstacles when looking for employment, including social stigma, unstable housing, unreliable transportation, and the requirements of their probation or parole. The result is unemployment, homelessness, and, in many cases, rearrest.

CWI Labs has created a jobs training and placement program for formerly incarcerated job seekers that addresses their unique needs to reduce recidivism and support a lasting re-entry into the labor force. The core strength of our program is the combination of career training, job placement, and job preparation.
